Janna is a Managing Director, Business Development at Taurus Private Markets, LLC, and is responsible for managing the business development and client service activities of the firm.

Prior to joining Taurus Private Markets in September 2024, Mrs. Hamilton was a Partner, Marketing and Client Services at Garcia Hamilton & Associates, LP.  Janna joined Garcia Hamilton & Associates, LP in 1994 and became a Partner in 2002. 

Mrs. Hamilton began her career at Smith Barney. Janna was a Senior Consulting Group Associate and was responsible for providing investment consulting services to both institutional and individual clients.

Janna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and International Business from Florida Atlantic University.  Mrs. Hamilton had studied at the University of Iowa prior to transferring to Florida Atlantic University.  Janna also completed the AIMSE Marketing Investment Management Program at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Mrs. Hamilton serves on the Advisory Board of the Florida Public Pension Trustees Association (FPPTA).
